Field Directions

To Massapequa (John J. Burns Park) - MAP

Southern State Parkway to exit 28A (Route 135—Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway) SOUTH. Take 135 SOUTH to the very last exit 1E (Merrick Rd. EAST) Note: The expressway ends at this point and you will be forced onto Merrick Road going EAST. Burns Park is approx. 2.5 miles on the right, just after Massapequa High School (on left). Make a right into the park and proceed to the back of the complex. The Massapequa Challenger baseball fields are at the back of the park across from the boat house. There is plenty of parking before and after the boat house.

NASSAU COUNTY CHALLENGER TOURNAMENT AT GARDEN CITY - Map

Souther State Pkwy west to Exit 17N (Hempstead Ave.) At end of exit ramp make right onto Hempstead Ave. At second light make left onto Nassau Blvd. Take Nassau Blvd. to the next major intersection (Hempstead Tpke.) Make right onto Hempstead Tpke and get into your left lane. Immediately after the Cherry Valley Shopping Center make a left onto Cherry Valley Ave. Park entrance is 1/4 mile on your left.

To Sachem (Holbrook Country Club): - Map

Sunrise Highway EAST to exit 50 (Broadway Ave). After coming off exit make LEFT onto Broadway Ave (you’re heading NORTH now). Take road until it ends (about a mile). Make RIGHT onto Patchogue - Holbrook Road. Field entrance is ¼ mile on RIGHT. Field will be on RIGHT. 

East Meadow (Little League Complex):

Southern State Parkway to Meadowbrook Parkway NORTH to exit M5 EAST to light (Merrick Ave.) Make RIGHT. Fields are ¼ mile on RIGHT.

To Lindenhurst (Babylon Town Hall): Map

Sunrise Highway EAST to Indiana Ave. (1/4 mile past Wellwood Ave and across from South Bay Diner). Make LEFT on Indiana Ave. and pull into Town Hall parking lot on RIGHT. Fields are in front of you.

To Merilon Avenue (Sports Complex):

Northern State Parkway WEST to Exit 26 (New Hyde Park Rd.) SOUTH to Marcus Ave (approx ½ mile). RIGHT on Marcus to fields on RIGHT. Note: Parking field is on your RIGHT after the ball fields.

From the South:
Southern State Parkway WEST to Exit 17 NORTH (Hempstead Avenue). Bear LEFT at the pond onto Nassau Blvd. Take Nassau Blvd. NORTH across Hempstead Tpke., over LIRR train tracks, to Stewart Avenue Ave. Make a LEFT onto Stewart Ave. to the end, which is Covert Ave. At Covert Ave. make RIGHT and a QUICK LEFT which puts you back onto Stewart Ave. Proceed approx. 2-3 blocks. Pass the first baseball field on your right and proceed to Floral Park Village Park on the right side of street. PLEASE BE THERE BY 8:45 am.
 
From the North:
Take Northern State Parkway WEST to Exit 26 SOUTH or LIE WEST to Exit 34 SOUTH (New Hyde Park Road). Stay on NHP Road until you reach Jericho Tpke. Make a RIGHT on Jericho Tpke, then a LEFT onto Covert Avenue. Cross the LIRR tracks and look for Stewart Avenue on your RIGHT. (If you cross a second set of RR tracks you’ve gone too far!). Make a RIGHT onto Stewart Ave. Proceed approx. 2-3 blocks. Pass the first baseball field on your right and proceed to Floral Park Village Park on the right side of street. PLEASE BE THERE BY 8:45 am.
